What is S.T.E.P. ?

Special Talents Entirety Program (S.T.E.P.) is an inclusive co-ed dance program designed for youth with intellectual / physical disabilities and / or delays.
Is there an age requirement to participate?
​
Our unique program is for ages 7 -12
What is the main goal of S.T.E.P.?
Our focus is to creating an enjoyable learning environment with a sense of confidence, community & belongingness.
What classes are offered?
​
Our skill sets include:

Street Rhythm – An urban fusion of both Jazz & Hip Hop with a focus on rhythm & inspiration
​

Cheer dance – Combining the worlds of dance & cheer alike to create a high energy experience
​
Can parents, paraprofessionals or help aides assist during class?
​
​
We both welcome & encourage participation from family & friends but it is not required. Our vision for our students is to achieve new milestones & create new comfort zones; rather with assistance or independently.

What are the fees?

Participation is free of charge.

Volunteers*:

Individuals or a group, we enjoy our students being embraced and uplifted by the community. Join us as a class volunteer by registering below!
*All volunteers over the age of 18 are subject to a background check thru the Parks & Recreation from the Douglas County Police Dept**

Donors:
Our program operates at no cost to our students or their families - donations of any amount to help offset the cost of improving our program is always greatly appreciated.
